These easy peanut butter bars come together in no time as they use Corn Flakes and don’t require baking.
1. Line an 8×8 inch pan with parchment or foil. Crush Corn Flakes either in a food processor or put them in a freezer bag and crush with a rolling pin .
2. Put peanut butter and honey in a large saucepan and melt over low heat. Stir until smooth. If you are afraid of burning the mixture, you can also melt it on top of a double boiler.
3. Remove pan from heat and stir in crushed cereal. Press mixture into the prepared pan.
4. Melt chocolate (with optional butter/peanut butter for extra smoothness) in the top of a double boiler or in the microwave (30 second heat increments, stirring in between each increment and continuing until smooth). Spread over the top of the peanut butter bars.
5. Use a knife and cut through the chocolate in your desired bar size. Then place pan in the fridge until firm. Fully cut the bars and serve.
