Description

Good bars for potlucks, funerals, etc.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 1-¾ cup Flour
  • 1 cup Oil
  • ½ cups Cocoa
  • 5 whole Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • Chocolate Chips, To Sprinkle On Top

Preparation

Dump ingredients in a sprayed 9×13 pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and bake for 30 minutes.

I’ve made these two times so far but changed the recipe a bit. It is such a versatile recipe I love it!

The first time I replaced the flour with almond flour since I’m GF. I also added a cup of coconut, left out the cocoa and sprinkled slivered almonds on top.

The second time I used almond flour, added 1 cup of coconut and drizzled carmel syrup on top after they cooled.

Oh yah and I left out 1 cup of sugar each time and they were still sweet enough.
