Description

Sure to be a crowd pleaser and an instant favorite, this summertime (or anytime) dessert is unique and simply delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Granulated White Sugar
  • 1 package Cream Cheese, 8 Oz Pkg
  • ½ cups Sour Cream
  • ½ cups Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 4 drops Red Or Green Food Coloring
  • 2 cups Cubed Or Balled Seedless Watermelon, Drained
  • 1 package Prepared Graham Cracker Crust
  • 2 cups Prepared Whipping Cream Or Cool-Whip

Preparation

Whip sugar, cream cheese, sour cream, heavy whipping cream, and food coloring together until smooth and fluffy, about two minutes.

Using a spoon or rubber spatula, fold in watermelon.

Spoon mixture into prepared graham cracker crust and top with whipped cream. Chill for at least one hour if possible or just eat right away.

*Prepared Whipped Cream can be made by whipping together at medium high speed with an electric mixer 1 3/4 cups heavy whipping cream and 1/4 cup granulated white sugar.

The pie went together well but it was runny. If I try again, I think that I will place it in the freezer so that it can harden.

I’m disappointed… :-( This looked so good. It was very runny and the watermelon flavor was overpowered by cream cheese. Ideas?
