Description

Quick and easy ice box pie made with cereal for extra fun!

Ingredients

  • FOR THE CRUST:
  • 2 cups Oreo Crumbs
  • 5 Tablespoons Butter, Melted
  • FOR THE FILLING:
  • 1 box Vanilla Pudding Mix, 3 Ounce Box
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • ½ tubs Cool Whip (1L Size)
  • ¾ cups Cookie Crisp Cereal, Crushed
  • ½ cups Chocolate Chips
  • FOR THE TOPPING:
  • ½ tubs Cool Whip (1L Size)
  • ¾ cups Cookie Crisp Cereal, Whole Pieces

Preparation

Spray a pie plate with non-stick spray. Set aside.

For the crust: In a bowl combine the Oreo crumbs and melted butter. Stir until combined. Press into your pie plate. Baking the crust is optional. If you do just pop it in a 350 F oven for about 5 to 8 minutes. But if you want this to be completely no-bake, then don’t bother. It will still set up nicely in the freezer.

For the filling: In the bowl of a mixer combine the vanilla pudding mix, the milk and the vanilla and whip until thick. Add the Cool Whip and whip again. Add the crushed cereal and chocolate chips. Fold them in with a spatula. Pour the mixture into the pie plate and set in freezer for at least an hour.

Remove the frozen pie from the freezer and pour the remaining Cool Whip over top. Place cookies on top. Freeze for at least a couple of hours. Remove from the freezer and serve with a big old childish smile!
