Description

A Far East-inspired clafoutis.

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons Corn Flour
  • 30 grams Granulated Sugar
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 400 milliliters Coconut Milk
  • 2 whole Limes, Zested

Preparation

Preheat oven to 140 C. Prepare an 18 cm diameter mold by coating it with butter and flour.

In a medium sized bowl mix the flour, sugar and eggs with a wire whisk until smooth. Then add the milk gradually, stirring as you go. Mix well, then season with lime zest. Pour the batter into the prepared mould.

Bake in the oven for 45-55 minutes. It’s ready when the top is golden and crispy and the middle has been set.

Serve warm with icing sugar and passion fruit.

We need some help before posting this:
– Would you go into the ingredients list and for all of the packaged items (just the coconut milk in this instance) please add in the specific size (in ounces, package count, or whatever applies) of the can? If you’ll enter the line as follows, this will ensure that folks get the right amounts of the packaged items when/if they use our system to multiply the recipe: 2 – cans – Cream of Chicken Soup (10 ounce cans) … We’ve got a lot of members overseas, in places where packaging varies. So if you’ll make sure to include package sizes on all recipe submittals it would be really helpful.
– Would you add a note into the instructions to specify what size your mold is (in dimensions or capacity)?
– In the future, please type out your title, only capitalizing the first letter of each word, instead of in all caps. I changed it for you this time.
– When you say ‘piece’ of lime zest, what do you mean? Do you mean 2 – whole – Limes, zested? Or if not, please provide a specific amount of zest.
– If you’ll make sure and use the drop down menu for the measurement in each ingredient line, and pick the appropriate measurement (‘clove’ for garlic, ‘stalks’ for celery, ‘leaves’ for bay leaves, and ‘whole’ for most other vegetables, eggs, etc) that would be appreciated.

When done making the changes, just click ‘make recipe visible’ and ‘save’ and we’ll get this posted!
Thanks! TKNanci
