1. Preheat oven to 350ºF.
2. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
3. Combine the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in oats.
4. Shape dough into 1-1/2-inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
5. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool for 1 minute before removing to wire racks to cool completely.
