Description

Warning! This dessert is addictive and may be hazardous to your waist and hips. There, I said it. Consider yourself warned. Make this dessert for Valentine’s Day and your family will love you even more. If they fail to love you after making this, refuse to share.

Ingredients

  • 1 package Chocolate Chips (12 Oz. Package)
  • 2-⅓ sticks Real Butter - Salted
  • 7 whole Eggs
  • ½ cups Sugar
  • ½ cups Plain Flour

Preparation

Melt chocolate and butter by microwaving both together for a couple of minutes or by heating chocolate and butter in a double boiler. While chocolate and butter are melting, add sugar and 4 of the eggs. Whisk by hand for a couple of minutes, then add flour and the remaining eggs. Whisk to blend. Then add the egg, flour, sugar mixture to the melted mixture. Pour into greased ramekin cups.

Bake at 425 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Garnish with sweet chocolate, chocolate sauce, or powdered sugar. Serve with ice cream on the side.

the recipe says 2-1/3 sticks butter…is that 2 sticks plus 1/3 cup? so basically 1-1/3 cups butter? I hope so…cause I’m in the kitchen making it right now!

I could not figure out how something could be good with so very little flour, but it looked so easy I just had to try it. All I can say is WOW and my husband is in hog heaven!!!! These things came out fabulous. I did not have ramekins so used my muffin tins. Worked just fine. Great, easy recipe.
