Description

This creamy ice cream gets its chocolate flavor from melted Hershey’s Kisses and is studded with your favorite candies. So fun and perfect for summer!

Ingredients

  • 25  Chocolate Kisses, Or More As Desired (See Note)
  • 2 cups Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1 cup Kit Kats, Chopped
  • 1 cup Snickers, Chopped
  • 1 cup Mini M&Ms
  • 1 can (14 Oz. Size) Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 4 teaspoons Vanilla Extract

Preparation

In a small microwave safe bowl, melt kisses in 30-second intervals until melted (see note). Set aside.

In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment (or using a hand mixer), whip cream until stiff peaks form.

In a large bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk with melted kisses. Add in vanilla. Fold in whipped cream until thoroughly combined. Gently fold in candies (m&ms, Kit Kats, and Snickers).

Pour into a 2-quart freezer safe container and freeze 8 hours, overnight, or until firm.

Notes:
1. When I made this, I only used 20 kisses, but the flavor wasn’t very strong. I would use at least 25, but probably closer to 30.
2. When melting the kisses, be sure to stir in between intervals. When ready, there may still be some small lumps, but stirring should smooth them out . Of course, if it doesn’t, continue to microwave until it does. Just make sure you don’t overheat the chocolate!
