Today for the Sweet Taste of Saturday I was on the hunt for something different to make, something rich, delicious and decadent. Score! These bars are just delicious and if you love the taste of a Butterfinger candy bar, these will be your new favorite. I warn you though: you absolutely cannot eat just one little serving at a time.
Mix the crust ingredients together. Press into a greased 9×13 pan. Bake at 400ºF for 10-12 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool about 5 minutes.
For the topping, spread the peanut butter evenly over the crust. Sprinkle the butterscotch chips and then the chocolate chips over the peanut butter. Take a knife and gently spread the chips as they begin to melt.
Let the bars cool completely before cutting. Makes approximately 24 two-inch sized bars.
