Description

Warm, caky, gooey cobbler with fresh picked blackberries … what a great summertime treat!

Ingredients

  • 1 stick Butter, Melted
  • 1 cup Bisquick Baking Mix
  • 2 cups Sugar, Divided
  • ⅔ cups Milk
  • 4 cups Fresh Blackberries
  • 2 teaspoons Cinnamon, Divided

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9×13 baking dish. Combine butter, Bisquick, 1 cup sugar and milk; mix well (mixture will be a little lumpy) and pour into the greased dish.
2. Combine fresh berries (or peaches) with 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Allow to sit for 10-15 minutes or until sugar is mostly dissolved and fruit is releasing its juice. Stir occasionally. Spoon fruit and juice over the batter in the baking dish.
3. Combine the remaining 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon and sprinkle evenly over peaches and batter.
4. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
