Old Fashioned Popcorn Balls

by jenmenke and filed in Christmas, Holidays

Colorful candy-coated popcorn balls are an old-fashioned Christmas tradition. They are easy to make and very hard to share, so make a lot.

White Chocolate Fudge

by 24dinner and filed in Christmas, Holidays

This recipe is similar to traditional fudge, but uses white chocolate and is slightly sweeter. Add walnuts for a good foil to the sweetness.

Sweet and salty, the perfect combo. This really couldn’t be simpler or more fun. Great to make with the kids, as there is no mess. Make double, because these go fast!

The perfect treat for Rudolph and all of Santa’s helpers! A fun and colorful candy/cookie bark that makes a bright and cheery food gift for the holidays, and it tastes great, too! This version was inspired by Recipe Girl’s Halloween version.

Burnt Sugar Almonds (Gebrannte Mandeln)

by Birgit Kerr and filed in Christmas, Holidays

There are many things I associated with Advent/Christmas time growing up in Germany. But none more than the deliciously enticing smell of fresh “burnt” almonds walking through a Christkindlmarkt (German Christmas markets). They are actually quite easy to make at home, and presented in cute little cellophane or paper cone bags, they make lovely favors or hostess gifts around this time of year, too!

Meet Nancy

Nancy is the Coupon Clipping Cook, which means she not only has an astounding number of recipes to share with us (her TK recipe box is busting at the seams!) but she's also got loads of money-saving tips in her blog (she worked at a grocery store for a number of years, so she knows her stuff). She has some pretty amazing creations, like Roasted Garlic Potato Soup and Nutty Coconut Chicken. Go check them out!

Meet Heather

Heather is a Texas native and the blogger behind Heather's Dish. She's mom to Weston, wife to Nate, and they live in Little Rock, Arkansas with their two "stubborn and saucy" dogs Bunker and Keira. In her blog, she shares her photographs, random musings (serious and silly alike), and all kinds of scrumptious recipes---and not just evil variations of her favorite mac and cheese. Her enviable TK recipe box is a testament to that. Go see for yourself!
