1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Beat butter, sugar, and eggs in a large bowl until light and fluffy. Stir in mashed bananas.
3. Sift flour, baking soda, and salt together.
4. Add flour mixture gradually, stirring after each addition. Be careful not to over mix.
5. Add sour cream and stir until mixed.
6. Pour into two prepared loaf pans, and bake at 375 for 40-50 minutes, or until knife inserted in center of loaf comes out clean.
