Amazing recipe, smelled like dessert when baking and tasted wonderful when it came out. I only used 1tsp of cinnamon and ommited the molasses, just because I didn’t have any–turned out great, took some to work and got asked for the recipe several times.

This cornbread is delicious! I think this may be the only recipe I use for cornbread from now on. So good!

Surprisingly mild flavor. The molasses, cinnamon, and brown sugar play nicely together and don’t overwhelm the other flavors. Perfect complement to my husband’s spicy beef chili.

Made this last night – fantastic. Still tastes like cornbread but just a little different twist. Love it!

Very easy! Even my non-adventurous husband liked this one! My three year old thought it was great!

I accidentally used self-rising cornmeal, and I overbaked this, and it still turned out delicious. It got better each day, actually. Pumpkin and cornbread is such a wonderful combination! Thanks for the recipe!

This is absolutely delicious. I made it to go with white chicken chili and it was a BIG hit. Thanks so much for this recipe!

OH MY! This was a major hit. This is what I want in a cornbread. I can’t wait to try a batch and put it dressing! Or drop the Molasses and use Dark brown sugar instead…or a splash of buttermilk. Best cornbread for the fall. Hands down.

Oh my gosh! I never thought of putting pumpkin into cornbread, but why not? I’m on a bit of a cornbread quest right now as soup/chili season is rapidly approaching, and I like the ones that have the 1:1 flour to cornmeal ratio the best. This is at the top of my “try” pile. Thanks, Tracy.

I’m in the middle of making this right now! I realized I don’t have enough cornmeal and no molasses… ooops. I’m going to send a kid to a neighbor for the cornmeal and improvise for the molasses. Let’s hope it turns out.

This sounds delicious! I don’t have molasses, as I never really use it, so I’m wondering if you think I could substitute real maple syrup (homemade) for it without a too noticeable difference?
