I just made these tonight, boy were these easy to make. I made them with whole wheat flour instead of regular and they are still moist and yummy as can be! Hubs ate them right up too!

I should have made two pans! These are Fantastic! Next time I am going to divide the dough in half and try making two loaves for lunch sandwiches. Anything that my kids love makes it to the permanent recipe binder. This one made it hands down!

Not having any bread flour, I made these with A-P the first time and they were just okay. The second time, using bread flour, they were phenomenal! I added an extra tbl. of sugar, and next time will increase the salt a bit, too. The evening I made the last batch, I had to put the dough (covered) into the refrigerator halfway through the first rise because we had to leave the house for a while. I went ahead and left it there overnight. The next day, I let the dough return to room temperature, formed the rolls and let them rise. They baked up beautifully. It’s my understanding that slow-rising in the refrigerator is a good way to develop flavor, but either way this is a great recipe.

These are incredible! Made them Easter Sunday for dinner and had the (very few) leftovers for sandwiches the next day. Great recipe!

I made these last night. I really wanted to make some good rolls or bread but had no eggs in the fridge. I chose this recipe, thinking “OK, I have lots of flour if I have to start over…” WELL, these rolls are SO GOOD there was no need to start over! Everybody loved them. I didn’t need any dadgum eggs! Thank you! I’m going to make these all the time!

I’m so glad you all like the rolls. It’s interesting that someone rated my recipe without giving a review. I thought one had to give a review in order to rate a recipe? It would have been nice to hear what that person had to say about the reason for the rating they gave the rolls. Of course, they may have not liked the rolls so much, which is fine, but if they ran into some sort of problem, I can’t offer any advice or help.

These are the best rolls I’ve ever eaten! I make a batch once a week now. Has anyone tried to freeze the dough after the 2nd rise, then thaw and bake later?

YUM! These are just fabulous (even when cheating and making them using the dough setting on the bread machine).
