An easy, quick, and delicious banana bread that your kids can help you make. Great for getting rid of overripe bananas, too!
This is really tough, so be prepared (I’m kidding!):
Mash the bananas
Soften the butter
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl (a stand mixer works wonderfully) until well mixed
Pour into a greased and floured bread pan
Bake for approximately 1 hour at 350 degrees.
*Note: if your bananas are very large, add 2 extra Tablespoons of flour.

Yummmmmmm, just made this but didn’t have a loaf pan so I used a cupcake pan, it made 12 and they were delicious!! Thank you

This recipe was so easy and delicious! I didn’t have nutmeg, so I used 1 tsp of pumpkin pie spice instead of the 1/2 tsp of cinnamon & 1/2 tsp of nutmeg. The loaf only lasted a day between my boyfriend and me!!

This turned out great! It was quick and easy — the hardest part was waiting for it to cool enough to slice and eat! My husband said simply, “Keep this recipe.” High praise, indeed!

Had some overripe bananas hanging out in my kitchen and decided to throw together a quick banana bread. This recipe was great for a quick, painless and ultimately delicious banana bread.
I didn’t have any unsalted butter, so I just didn’t throw in any extra salt that the recipe called for. Still turned out very well!
