Description

A delicious alternative to purchasing an energy bar. You can make your own in no time at all. The flavor profile can be changed just by adding different nuts or fruit juice. They are wonderful!!

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Loosely Packed Pitted Dates
  • ½ cups Dried Apples
  • ½ cups Raw Cashews Or Almonds
  • ¼ cups Whole Rolled Oats
  • 2 Tablespoons Oat Bran
  • 2 Tablespoons Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Orange Zest

Preparation

Place all the ingredients in a food processor or blender and process 1 to 2 minutes, scraping down the sides a couple of times. The mixture will first come apart and then become finer, finally holding together in a clump of “dough” that will roll around in the processor. When the ingredients are well incorporated into a dough, roll into a truffle sized balls of your choice or flatten evenly into a 5×7 Pyrex dish and slice. Enjoy!!
