Description

This easy granola is great on top of anything! Yogurt, fruit,ice cream, you name it! Don’t be scared by all of the ingredients! This granola is to die for!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Old-fashion Rolled Oats
  • ¾ cups Oat Bran
  • ½ cups Slivered Almonds
  • ½ cups Chopped Pecans
  • ¾ teaspoons Salt
  • ¼ cups Brown Sugar
  • ⅛ cups Maple Syrup
  • ¼ cups Honey
  • 2 Tablespoons Honey
  • ½ cups Vegetable Oil
  • 1-½ teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1-½ teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Dried Cranberries
  • ¼ cups White Raisins

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 325 F. Line one large baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Set aside.
2. Combine the oats, oat bran, almonds and pecans in a large bowl. Set aside for a moment.
3. In a saucepan, stir together the salt, brown sugar, maple syrup, honey, oil, cinnamon, and vanilla. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then immediately pour over the dry ingredients and stir to coat. Spread the mixture evenly on the baking sheet.
4. Bake in preheated oven until crispy and toasted, about 20 minutes. Stir halfway through. Cool, then stir in the raisins and/or cranberries before storing in an airtight container.
