Description

The PERFECT appetizer for your next party – Christmas, football, birthday, etc.

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons Butter, Softened
  • ½ cups Sour Cream
  • 8 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Softened
  • ½ cups Frank's Red Hot Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing Mix (dry, About 1/2 Packet)
  • 1 pound Cooked Chicken, Chopped (do NOT Used Canned)

Preparation

1. In a medium bowl, mix together the butter, sour cream and cream cheese until blended well. Add hot sauce and ranch seasoning mix; mix well. Stir in chicken.

2. Place the mixture in a small crock pot (mine is 2 quarts). If needed, you can store the crock pot insert in the refrigerator overnight.

3. Cook on low for 2 to 3 hours, or until heated through. Serve with fun dipping things (veggies, flat pretzels, crackers, chips, etc.).

My coworker makes this dip and it is very addicting. She adds premixed ranch dressing out of the bottle and some cheddar cheese to hers. I took the dip recipe and turned it into a great soup, there recipe is here on TK https://tastykitchen.com/recipes/soups/buffalo-chicken-soup/
