Description

A delicious version of the restaurant’s dip. And so simple to toss together.

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces, weight Light Sour Cream
  • 1 package (1 Oz.) Ranch Dip Mix
  • 2 whole Large Jalapenos, Finely Diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, Finely Minced
  • ⅓ cups Chopped Fresh Cilantro
  • 1 whole Lime, Juiced
  • Milk (optional)

Preparation

Mix all ingredients (except the milk) together. Use the milk to thin the dip to whatever consistency you desire. Serve with tortilla chips. Simple. Easy. Delish.

Made this to take to Easter dinner at a friend’s house. It was such a hit!! Everyone was a little hesitant to give it try at first, thinking it would be super hot. But once they had that first taste, they were all over the stuff. Not heated at all and has this great summery taste. Definitely a must have at all my summer get togethers.

This one is sooooo good. My friend made it and served it with Lime flavored Tostitos and it gave the dip the perfect crunchy complement.

mrsmp: I’ve eaten this for several days after making it. It keeps well. The only change I noticed was the jalapenos and garlic got stronger.

People argued over who got to sit next to this bowl of dip. if you don’t do spicy very often, make sure you remove the ribs and the seeds from the jalapenos.

Yum! Makes a great topper for baked potatoes, too.
I did not add in cilantro, though, because my family isn’t a big fan of it.

Just made this for a party and I hope it lasts long enough for other people to try it! I used spicy ranch mix. Yum! I will definitely make this again. So delicious.
