Made these this morning. I did omit the butterscotch and just used peanut butter and chocolate in the top layer — they are fabulous!! I had to refrigerate mine for four full hours for the top layer to full set, but oh, they were worth the wait. Thanks for sharing – will definitely make these again!!

These are a fantastic thing to make for a crowd or a special occasion! My niece (age 8) and I had a candy-making weekend just after Thanksgiving and these were a big hit. We cut small rectangles and wrapped them in wax paper for a single-serving-candy kind of effect.
My husband is now addicted to them and has declared them evil because “I can’t stop thinking about them”.
I think next time I’m making them just for us, I’d make half a pan (a little goes a long way!) and maybe put some of the chocolate mixture in the bottom of the pan to give it both a top and bottom (so it’s easier to take them out of the pan in pieces).

I also halved the recipe and it fits perfectly in an 8×8 pan. I thought these were really good..they didn’t seem too sweet to me at all but I have a big sweet tooth They were a huge hit in our house and they freeze very well..taste good frozen too

These were very easy to make. I don’t think I’ll make them again, though. They were almost too sweet and I didn’t like the crackery texture. ~Thanks for the recipe, I do enjoy trying new things.

More Twix than Kit Kat… but TOTALLY DELICIOUS!!! We modified the recipe slightly to use peanut butter chips instead of butterscotch ones (it’s what I had on hand).

These were a big hit over the 4th of July! I handed one to a coworker without telling them what they were called and he said, “ooh, it’s like a Kit-Kat!” I don’t think so, either, but they’re wonderful either way!

so rich and delicious. My family gobbles these up. A quick dessert and no need to turn on the oven.

I made these for my 4th of July cookout and they were the biggest hit. They are better than kit kats. Thanks for posting.
