Luscious little bites of chocolate heaven.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and grease a 13×9″ pan. In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter and vanilla until smooth. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour and sugar.
Beat the flour mixture into the butter mixture. Press 2/3 of the cookie dough mixture into the pan, reserving the remaining third. Bake for about 10 minutes or until the crust turns light brown.
In a double boiler, melt half of the chocolate with the condensed milk. Once the crust has cooled for a bit, spread the jam over it. Then, pour the chocolate mixture over the jam.
Sprinkle the remaining cookie dough over the top, and then sprinkle with the other half of the chocolate chips.
Bake for about 25 minutes. Let cool completely before serving.

These were very good–used homemade strawberry jam and sprinkled white chips on top instead of the chocolate and they turned out great

I made these the other night. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed when I first tasted them. But then the next day they were great! These definitely get better with age!

Very good. I was worried the crust was just going to be too crumbly but they held together well.
I used FF condensed milk and all-fruit spread (strawberry).

What kind of jam would be good to use in these?
