Easy breezy, but mine took way longer to cook than the recipe calls for. Still — tasty!

These are pretty good brownies, and super easy to make!!
I added chocolate chips across the top of the batter after I put it into the pan and I had to bake these a little longer than the recipe called for.

This was a very easy recipe. I melted the butter in the microwave, so it was a one bowl recipe! I added peanut butter and swirled it before baking. This will be my go to recipe for brownies.

my boyfriend woke up from a nap yesterday & demanded (ok, it was more of a polite request) brownies. i chose this recipe because the ingredients are basic (i live in germany & sometimes certain things can be tricky to find at the grocery store). it’s a winner! we could eat the whole pan in one sitting. thanks for the great recipe.

What’s the difference with using melted butter vs. oil or even using 1/2 c. of each to make a cup? Cake like vs. fudgy?

I can’t tell you how many times I have used this brownie mix- never fails! Even if I add junk to it like cheesecake mix. Everyone rants about them.

Question…by putting 4 eggs doesn’t that make it more like a cake vs brownies? I’m new at baking felt weird putting so many eggs hahaha.
Thank U.

Love these! My first time to make homemade brownies and I wonder why I EVER box the boxed crud.

I was also under the impression that box brownies might just be the easiest and best way to go, but this recipe proved me wrong! Not only was it SUPER fast and easy to make, the texture was the same as the box brownie. The taste was however WAY better. It just goes to show that you don’t always need to have crazy ingredients or complicated cooking processes in order for something to be good. In the future, I would cut the sugar down a 1/4 cup ~ 1/2 cup. It was perfectly sweet like typical brownies but I don’t think I would miss much cutting the sugar a bit. I also used Nestle Cocoa powder which I think I prefer to Hershey’s. It has a really rich flavor that did wonders for my brownies. Thanks so much for sharing this great recipe – it will definitely be my go to brownie recipe from now on!
