This is the BEST banana bread recipe I’ve tried…and I’ve tried a LOT. I think the secret is roasting the bananas and of course, the streusel topping! I divided the batter and made a large loaf and mini loaf, they were both perfect-sized loafs.

I can’t stop eating this bread. I thought I’d found THE banana bread for me a few months ago … then I tried this one. I may still try to find more types of banana bread, but honestly? This is so good, I’d be happy if it were the last one I tried! The streusel topping? I added 1/4 cup chocolate chips and it made me happy. It made me VERY happy Thanks for the recipe!

I doubled the recipe because I have a big family and I substituted whole wheat pastry flour. This was the best banana bread I have ever had in my life. It is so moist and delicious. The crumb topping makes it that much better! I will never make another recipe again.

I had bananas (going bad) when I found your recipe. Next time I will roast the bananas. Thank you for taking a classic bread over the top with the topping. Thank you for sharing.

Yummy. The streusel topping took it over the top for me. I already had dark bananas, waiting to make bread when I found your recipe. Next loaf, I will roast the bananas. Thank you for sharing

Loved this Banana bread. It’s just a little bit different than your basic recipe but still has that classic banana bread taste.

I’ve never made banana bread without buttermilk, but this one looks like it is worth trying. And the streusel topping sounds fabulous.

You could say I’m on a mission to find the perfect banana bread recipe. And of course I know “perfect” is a perspective. I love streusel toppings so this one is one I must try. I’ll post a review afterwards. Thanks for the recipe.
