Love these! Agree they aren’t the same consistency as your typical granola bars, but we all really liked them. Made one batch with chocolate chips, shredded coconut, coconut oil instead of canola, a few white chips, and heaping spoonful of peanut butter instead of the pb chips. Also omitted the cinnamon on that batch. These were the favorites. Made another batch with chocolate chips, raisins and pecans and omitted the pb chips but did put the cinnamon. Stored both in the fridge and I thought they were better cold than right out of the oven. Thanks for a great, customizable recipe!

These were great. Nice and chewy. I used 1/2 a cup of peanut butter, 1/2 cup of rice krispies and 1/2 cup raisins instead of the chocolate chips

These worked out very well. My husband called them more of a “cookie” than a true granola “bar”, but I don’t care as long as he likes them. And he does. I love how I can make these for my kids’ lunches and I know exactly what’s in them. I think next time I’ll throw in some craisins and sunflower seeds and see how that goes over. Thanks so much!

I am in my third trimester of pregnancy and have been eating granola bars every day for a snack. I finally looked up this recipe and I have the second batch in two weeks in the oven – love them! I also reduced the sugar and all different things each time: coconut, cranberries, almonds, mini choc chips. This is a recipe I will continue to use for a wholesome snack – Thank you!

These are yummy. Just made a second batch. This time I had to sub 1/2 cup quick oats in as I didn’t have quite enough rolled oats. Still yummy though. Mine puff up more like bar cookies too. Not sure why. I also used all chocolate chip instead of using any PB chips. I froze some of my last batch and they were great from the freezer. Thanks for sharing the recipe.

very good recipe-thanks! Made just as is, with mini choc. chips and a few M and M’s.
Easy to double and make 2 -9x13s at the same time.
Cut and froze single bars in small snack ziploc baggies.
Perfect for a quick breakfast on the go or the mighty deer hunter in the family.;)
Will try nuts and dried fruits or just raisins when freezer supply is empty.

Delicious! Made one batch with the chips and slivered almonds and another with raisins, extra cinnamon and walnuts. I underbaked the raisin batch – but it turned out to be a lucky accident… because the bars taste just like oatmeal raisin cookie dough! YUM. Thanks for sharing this recipe : )

Had some homemade granola and was looking for a way to make tasty, calorie dense bars for a backpacking trip. Added creamy peanut butter and left out the chips. They were a hit!

I made these last night with my 3 yr old. I measured and he loved dumping the ingredients in the bowl. I love that you can mix and match different ingredients. I made with semi-sweet and white chocolate chips. Tasty.

I’m going to make these for my kids’ lunches. I love that I can put whatever I want in them. I have one question, how do you store these?
