Flavorful side dish with pork, beef, or ham.
In a large lidded soup pot or Dutch oven over medium heat, add vegetable stock, water, cubed potatoes, green beans, onion, salt, black pepper, and bacon. Stir gently, cover with lid, and cook 15 minutes, stirring while cooking. Remove bacon before serving.
Transfer to a serving bowl and enjoy! We love this with ham.
