I hope you try this lemongrass rice recipe I tried the other day. It is easy to make. You can do this in 4 simple steps. All you need is rice, lemongrass stem and few other items.
Combine rice, water, lemongrass, lemon zest, salt and bay leaf in a pot and bring to boil over high heat. Once the water boils, reduce heat to medium low. Cover and simmer until rice is tender (timing according to package instructions) and liquid is absorbed.
Remove from heat and let it sit covered for 5 minutes.
Discard lemongrass and bay leaf and garnish with chopped green onion.
