A great side dish to serve along side a lean protein and a refreshing salad. Or perhaps toss some shredded chicken and some pine nuts and arugula with the rice and make it a complete meal!
In a saucepan over medium heat, add ghee, onions, and garlic. Cook until slightly translucent and soft.
Add rice and turmeric. Stir to coat rice. Add chicken broth and bring to a boil. Cover and turn down heat and simmer for 30–35 minutes.
Remove from heat and add lemon juice and salt. Stir to combine.
Plate and garnish with cilantro. Serve hot.
