Tasty rice pilaf with curry, allspice, turmeric, almonds and currants. Great as a side dish!
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Melt butter in a skillet, add onion and rice. Cook and stir until rice is yellow and onion is tender. Add seasonings and pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish. Pour hot chicken broth over the top and stir. Cover and bake 30-40 minutes until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed. Stir in almonds and currants before serving.

It looks like the currants are missing from the ingredients list. Would you add that?? When done, click ‘make recipe visible’ and ‘save’ and we’ll get this posted.
