This is an amazing way to enjoy your asparagus this summer—and it’s so easy! Tossed in olive oil, sea salt, ground black pepper and Parmesan cheese, it’s the perfect side for any meal.
After washing the asparagus, snap off the tough ends. A lot of people tend to estimate where the good part of the stalk ends and where the tough part of the stalk begins, but the best way to determine this is to let the stalk tell you itself. Just hold the stalk with both hands, and bend it until it breaks. It will naturally break in the right spot. Ain’t that somethin’?
Toss the asparagus stalks in the olive oil, sea salt, pepper and Parmesan cheese.
Wrap them in foil, and throw them on the grill (heated to medium heat). You can leave the foil closed, or open the foil to expose the stalks and move them around occasionally. It’s up to you. I like to open my foil and move the stalks around a bit to ensure I’m getting an even browning. Grill on medium for approximately 12-15 minutes.
