Description

My new favorite way to prepare canned peas.

Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon Butter
  • 1 can 15 Oz. Sweet Peas
  • ½ cups Chicken Broth
  • ½ teaspoons (scant) Dried Sage

Preparation

In a small saucepan, melt butter on medium heat. Add drained peas, chicken broth and sage to pan, stir and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring often, for 10-15 minutes or until the liquid is mostly evaporated.

I only had frozen peas so I used them. This recipe was simple and delicious! I w as sick of the same old peas. Thanks for posting.
