Description

Make it red and spicy with cinnamon hearts.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Water
  • ½ cups Brown Sugar
  • ½ cups White Sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons Minit Tapioca
  • ¼ cups Red Cinnamon Heart Candies
  • 10 whole Apples, Peeled With Cores Removed

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350ºF.

In a small saucepan boil together the water, sugars, tapioca, and cinnamon hearts until the cinnamon hearts are dissolved. Remove from heat.

Spray a 9×13 pan or other 3-quart casserole dish with cooking spray. Place the apples, halved or sliced, in the pan. Pour the sauce over the top. Cover dish with a sheet of foil and bake until apples are softened, about 45-55 minutes.

Hi Trish,
We need a second of your help. Because you did not enter a serving size in that space within the entry form, the system had a problem with your recipe. We would be happy to post the recipe but we need for you to go into the recipe and double check the quantities, measurements and amounts within your ingredients list (to make sure they didn’t get messed up when the system tried to process your recipe without a serving size) and also to specify the correct serving size (I entered 1 as the serving size—just so that the recipe wouldn’t crash all together. But please change it to the accurate serving size when you go in to work on the ingredients list).

Also, for future reference when entering other recipes, we must have a serving size in that space in order for our system to know what amounts to display when/if someone wants to modify the serving size (double it, or whatever).

If you have questions, please let me know. We appreciate your help. When done, click ‘make recipe visible’ and ‘save’ and we’ll get this posted.
Thanks,
TKNanci
