Description

A staple at EVERY family holiday meal. Be prepared to add this to your top secret repertoire. I won’t tell your family and friends just how easy it is.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 Oz. Can) Creamed Corn
  • 1 can (15 Oz. Can) Corn
  • 1 box (8.5 Oz. Box) Jiffy Cornbread Mix
  • 1 stick Butter Or Margarine
  • 8 ounces, weight Cream Cheese (don't Even Think About Light Or Fat Free)

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9×13 casserole dish. Dump in creamed corn, regular corn (drained partially, leave about half of the liquid in), and cornbread mix.

Mix butter and cream cheese in a microwaveable bowl and microwave until butter is melted. Stir cream cheese and butter together and pour into the corn batter. Stir all ingredients until well combined and spread evenly in the dish.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Check after 45 minutes, but it will most likely take an hour.

Smile coyly when the compliments start pouring in. You’re welcome.

@Beachbumette..just leave it dry, the other ingredients make it all work! :)

Do you make the cornbread mix according to package directions or just leave it dry? Looks yummy! :)

Yum! I made this for New Years Eve and will make it again for sure. I might try it with green chilies next time. Thanks for a great, and EASY, recipe.

Made this as one of the sides for our Christmas dinner and there wasn’t one little bit left – everyone loved it and asked me to prepare it again next week for our New Year celebration. Thanks for a great recipe.

WOW, a new family favorite. I made this for Christmas dinner and even though I doubled it I had none left. Everyone left with the recipe too.
