Tasty way to jazz up some brown rice.
Bring a pot of water to boil, add in your bags of rice and cook according to package directions.
Chop up the bacon and add to hot skillet. Cook until nicely browned but not burnt. Add mushrooms and cook until mushrooms are soft. Add in minced garlic and parsley last as to not burn the garlic. Saute for about a minute or so.
By this time your rice should be done. Drain the rice bags, cut open and dump into a bowl. Then add the bacon/mushroom mixture and stir to combine.
