Atzem pilaf is a Turkish recipe widely cooked in Greece. It’s very tasty and it goes well with all kinds of meat.
Heat a saucepan, add butter and garlic. Sauté garlic until golden brown from both sides. Remove.
Add noodles and sauté until golden brown. Add rice and continue sautéing for 2 minutes. Pour boiling water in the pot and add the bouillon cube. Let simmer and stir frequently.
When almost all the liquid has been absorbed, about 30 minutes or so, remove from heat and cool for 30 minutes. Seaon to taste.
