If you like the salt/vinegar combo, you will love these potatoes. You can find them in the produce section, probably by the refrigerated potatoes.
In a pot, combine the sliced potatoes and malt vinegar. Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer until fork tender, about 15 minutes. Let the potatoes cool in the vinegar for 10 minutes, then drain.
Preheat your broiler to high. Lay the potatoes on a baking sheet and drizzle olive oil over them, then stir to coat evenly. Turn each potato so that the skin side is facing up and then sprinkle with the salt.
Broil on medium for about 5 minutes, until the skins start to crisp up.
