Spice up fall and winter with this hot apple cider recipe!
Tie up cinnamon sticks and whole cloves into cheesecloth.
Add apple cider and all other ingredients into crock pot. Cover and simmer on low.
Cider will be ready in about 3 hours, but can continue simmering on low. Remove cheescloth bag and orange wedges, and serve! (This recipe yields approximately 10 – 12 servings.)
Leftovers can be stored in the fridge and reheated the next day.
This is a must-have every Thanksgiving and Christmas in our home, but makes a perfect hot drink any time in the fall and winter!
Enjoy!!

This makes some mighty delicious cider! The only tiny thing I changed was instead of using ground ginger, I had a small piece of fresh ginger that I sliced and put in the cheesecloth. Great recipe! : )
