A recipe for homemade almond butter topped off with sea salt.
Combine the almonds and sea salt in a large food processor. Turn on to process. Stop and scrape down the sides as needed. The almonds will go through several stages but will begin to release oils after a few minutes and the almonds will become creamy and smooth after several minutes of processing.
If desired, add 2 to 3 teaspoons of honey to the almond butter at the end of processing.
