Description

Frozen yogurt treat for your dog!

Ingredients

  • 32 ounces, weight Organic Vanilla Yogurt
  • 1 cup Peanut Butter
  • 1 Tablespoon Honey

Preparation

I like to use Stonyfield Organic Low-Fat Yogurt and organic peanut butter, because that’s what I eat.

Put the peanut butter in a microwave-safe dish and microwave until melted. Keep an eye on it as it can burn quickly.

Mix the yogurt and the melted peanut butter in a bowl.

Pour mixture into a cupcake pan lined with papers and freeze.

When the dog treats are frozen hard, you can pop them out of the cupcake pan and put them in a Ziploc bag for storage in the freezer.

This sounds like an awesome recipe to make for my parent’s boxer when I’m in town next. Thanks for sharing!

Glad I’m not the only one who sometimes cooks for the dog.
My dog loves peanutbutter and plain yoghurt – and icecream! This recipe sounds like a winner. I wonder if I could fill a kong with it and freeze the whole thing?

Thanks for adding something for dogs. I’m going to try soon. I buy the frozen stuff from Walmart some times when I think about it and my dogs just love it. Glad to know how to make it at home. Thanks again.
