With a few pantry ingredients, you can quickly whip up a batch of homemade enchilada sauce!

In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1 minutes. Add the spices and cook for 30 seconds. Whisk in the broth and strained tomatoes.
Bring to a simmer and simmer for 5–10 minutes, or until thickened. Add salt to taste.
