Description

Have a sweet Halloween!

Ingredients

  • 9 ounces, weight Store-bought Shortbread Cookies
  • 3 ounces, weight Butter (soft)
  • 6 ounces, weight Sweetened, Condensed Milk
  • 3 teaspoons Cocoa Powder

Preparation

Crumble the cookies into a large bowl. Add soft (but not melted) butter and mix together with your hands. Add the cocoa and mix again, then add the condensed milk. Thoroughly mix all the ingredients and put this sticky mass in the freezer for 10 minutes.

After it freezes a bit, take it out of the freezer and start forming balls (spiders’ bodies) about 2 cm in diameter and sticks (spiders’ legs) about 5 cm long. Prepare three sticks and one ball for every spider. Then press the sticks to the “bodies” so that they cross in the middle on the spiders’ bellies thus forming 6 legs.

Make smaller balls for spiders’ heads and press to attach them to the body. Then embed two cookie crumbs into the head to make eyes.

When you finish assembling your chocolate spiders, put them on the plate and send to the freezer for 20 minutes before serving.
