Description

This is a Christmas version of Paula Deen’s Ooey Gooey Bars. So yummy! You’ve gotta try it!

Ingredients

  • FOR THE CRUST:
  • 1 package (about 15 Oz. Size) Your Favorite Gingerbread Cookie Mix (or Homemade)
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 1 stick Butter, Melted
  • FOR THE FILLING:
  • 1 block (8 Oz. Size) Cream Cheese, Softened
  • 1 stick Butter, Softened
  • 16 ounces, weight Confectioners Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 2 whole Eggs

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350ºF.

For the crust, mix together dry cookie mix, egg, and melted butter. Press the dough into a 9×13 pan.

For the filling, cream the softened butter and cream cheese. Mix in confectioner’s sugar. Add in the eggs and vanilla, mix well. Pour over the crust in the pan.

Bake for 45 minutes. Let cool for 1 hour.
