Best corn casserole ~ so moist and delicious with just about anything from burgers to pork chops to honey ham to chicken…Wonderful potluck item and ideal at holiday buffet tables. Easy to prepare and so good!
Combine all ingredients and blend well.
Pour mixture into a buttered 8X11 inch pan at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes.

I bet Paula Deen uses more butter and eggs!
A variation is also in a Christmas Gooseberry Patch cookbook and calls for an extra egg – makes it extra good and rich.

I made this recipe for the first time 5 years ago. I found in Paula Deen’s cookbook. It’s a good one!

YES, this is a keeper. The only difference I have found through the years is that when I use a premium corn muffin mix that has corn kernels it is yummier.

This is the exact recipe I use when I make corn casserole! I can testify to its deliciousness as I’m constantly being asked to make it for my boyfriend and his roommate! If you make this, you will LOVE it!

I nearly grew up on this recipe and make it myself now, except that we do not drain the corn, we use 2 eggs and 1 stick of melted butter, and a 9×13 pan. I doubt that’s enough difference in recipe to post my version. But I am completely addicted to it! I insist on having it for every holiday.
