Sweet tea with a cool mint background.
This makes 1 gallon of tea.
Place mint leaves in a tea strainer ball, or wrapped in cheesecloth. (You just don’t want leaves running through the tea … or maybe you do? Your call!)
In a medium pot, add 1 quart water and drop in the tea strainer with mint leaves.
Bring water to a boil. As soon as it boils, turn off heat and add tea bags. Steep for 12 minutes.
Remove tea bags and discard.
Remove mint leaves and discard.
While tea is hot, add in the honey and lemon juice and stir to dissolve honey.
Pour the tea from the pot into a gallon jug and fill the rest of the way with cold water. Refrigerate.
