Strawberries. Peaches. Vanilla. Flax or chia. Your call. Breakfast on-the-go can be both healthy (think paleo) and delicious (think sweet and tangy)!
Combine fruit and water in high-speed blender and mix on medium to high speed until smooth. Add honey or agave nectar and vanilla, if including, continuing to blend until mixed.
Add flaxseed or chia seeds. (K-Hubs is a big flaxseed fan. I am more of a chia seed fan. Go with your preference. This tangy smoothie, although freakishly delicious, doesn’t “hide” additional flavors the way some recipes do.)
Let sit in the refrigerator for 30 minutes (this is a smoothie best served cold).
