Sparkling Jalapeno Margarita

Take one jalapeno and cut it into 5 to 6 long slices, removing seeds. Cut the other jalapeno into rounds, also removing the seeds.

Place all but one jalapeno slice in the bottom of a pitcher with half of the lime wedges. With the back of a wooden spoon, muddle limes and jalapeno by pressing spoon into the jalapenos and limes to release juices. Pour in 7UP and lime juice and stir to combine. If you would like to add alcohol to this recipe, add 1 cup of tequila to the mixture and stir to combine.

Pour sugar in a bowl. With remaining jalapeno slice, rub top rim of all glasses. Dip each glass in sugar to cover rim. Fill each glass with ice and pour in margarita mix. Add jalapeno slices and remaining lime wedges to the top of the glass and serve.
