This is the house wine for many Southern homes. You can’t beat good sweet tea and you won’t come back for bad.
Place the water and tea bags in a pot and bring to a boil. Turn off stove and let tea steep for about 20 minutes. Add tea “water” to a gallon jug and stir in sugar until dissolved. Fill the rest of the way with cool water and serve over ice. Garnish with a lemon wedge if desired. Keeps refigerated for 2-3 days.
