The British version of the margarita (except totally different).
Cut slices of apple, lemon, orange, cucumber and strawberry in small enough pieces to fit in a glass. Take all your slices of fruit and put them in the bottom of a glass. Top fruit with a sprig of fresh mint and lashings of ice.
Next, pour in two shots of Pimm’s No. 1 cup Gin and four shots of either strong lemonade or champagne of your choice.
Notes:
If you use lemonade to make this drink, make this in a large glass so you can top up the rest of the cocktail with tonic water.
For a true British experience, connoisseurs prefer using champagne instead of traditional lemonade and tonic water. Pour champagne slowly as it bubbles up quite fast.
For larger quanities, simply double (or triple) the recipe and mix all ingredients together in a large pitcher.
Stir all ingredients together and serve.

We had these at Wimbledon a couple of years ago, mmm. I’m wishing it was summer to enjoy this Pimms.. We are freezing our butts off in Texas right now, but I know there are many colder places.

I drank these in the pubs of London on vacation, and fell in love. So refreshing. This would be a great summer party cocktail. Thanks for the memories!
