Prepare this the night before or plan to refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
In a large saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Remove from heat and add in the Nestle’s Quick, sugar and coffee. Stir until all is dissolved. Cover this mixture and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight).
About 30 minutes before serving, pour into a punch bowl. Add ice cream by scoopfuls. Keep stirring until partially melted.
Garnish with dollops of whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles. You may also garnish each individual cupful.
Serves 20 to 25.

I think you mean 1 1/2 quarts of water not cups. This punch is delicious and always a hit at bridal or baby showers.
