This recipe is a concentrate; keep it in the refrigerator and you can have refreshing tea whenever you want!
In a glass bowl, place black tea bags and mint leaves. Pour boiling water over, making sure all the tea is immersed. Let steep for 8 minutes. Remove tea, add sugar and stir until dissolved.
To use, go with a 1:4 ratio (1 cup mint concentrate: 4 cups cold water). Serve over ice chips.
Note: The original recipe asked for 2 1/2 cups sugar but I just couldn’t do it. It is delicious with 2 cups instead!
