So you want eggnog, but not a whole pitcher. Here is a quick, easy recipe for one mug of eggnog, microwaved in five minutes.
1. Beat egg, sugar and vanilla with a wire whisk. Pour into a large mug.
2. Add milk and mix well.
3. Microwave for about 2 1/2 to 3 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds. DO NOT BOIL.
4. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Serve immediately for those who enjoy it warm or cool otherwise.

I just tried this and it is great! I usually like my egg nog cold, but I couldn’t wait for it to cool down.
I used 4oz. half and half and 4oz. whole milk, with a sprinkle of cinnamon. Perfect for a cold day!
